[ Another day had come to an end with no leads to the location of a Jedi or any Jedi. There were times when it felt like the galaxy was sending them on a wild chase, just to see how far they were willing to go before giving up, testing the strength of Din's promise. Rey wasn't sure if the Mandalorian felt frustration or relief as each day left them no closer to finding a day than the previous day. She seemed to think he enjoyed it. More time with the kid. Their bond becoming stronger, and when the time came for the two to part...would either one be willing to let go?

Would Grogu want to let go of his father figure? Would she be willing to let go of the little guy? He was sweet, good nature, even though he was a bit mischievous. Born out of curiosity and a desire to test the boundaries (or patience) of their parent.

Whatever the case, they had camped out far away from civilization. Grogu was asleep in his pram which left Rey and Din alone for the evening. Her stomach wasn't gnawing at her. The hunger pains that accompanied her every night had stopped when she joined Din's crew. As it were, she was sitting on the small bunk, fingers undoing her hair style, one small bun at a time.

She didn't need a mirror to know where she had to part her hair, or how much she had to gather to ensure the bun wouldn't lopsided or too big. Years of practice had made it to where she could easily do it with little assistance. It might surprise Din to see how much she actually had. Rey's brown locks brushing against her shoulders. A small brush resting on her knee while her small hair ties and pins sat in front of her.

Taking out the last pin and setting it aside, she started to brush her hair, slow methodical movements starting at the end of her locks then up to her scalp. Very boring, but needed to make sure her hair wouldn't get in face.

If Din saw her taking care of her hair, she didn't notice or comment unless he approached her in which case, she would feel embarrassed for taking so long to do her hair.]
