[The notion to breathe, to bring oxygen into her lungs and then release it and repeat it wasn't a hard one to grasp. Yet, in the middle of trying to get her barrings, hoping that Finn was okay, and trying to figure out what her next move should be, she forgot just that. She drew in one breath, taking it in deep to fill her lungs and slowly released it. A thought entered her mind and she swore she heard Kylo Ren's voice attached to it. A shudder ran through her body as anger flared in her heart.
He was alive. He was here, and monitoring her.]
Get. Out.
[The thought was screamed in her mind before her mental walls came up. He didn't need to be near her, nor did she want anything to do with him. Not after he killed Han, not after he threw away his father. She wanted to yell at him, scream, but it wouldn't do her any good. Her energy would be better spent trying to plan her escape.
She took in a another deep breath, opening her eyes when she heard someone come in. A guard was approaching her cell with a tray of food. Though she wanted to escape, her stomach quickly reminded her to reorganize her priorities. She wouldn't get far if she didn't have anything in her body.
Rey didn't do anything to the guard, letting him place her food through the small opening in the cell. The idea that the food could be poisoned crossed her mind, but she had to take a chance. Taking her food from the opening, she sat it down on the floor. She couldn't escape...but she could gather some information. Focusing her attention on the guard, she began to tap into the Force.]
