Was Rey busy? From a work perspective, no. She had her assignments done and project work in line. She was going to chip away at small tasks, but it wasn’t anything vital. Small busy work because she could never find a good stopping point for the day, unless it was time for bed.
Was she planning to use some of her free time to calm down from asking Buck out? Yes. Her anxiety was still running high—but he wanted her to come inside!! Isn’t this how all true crime shows start? The thought drifts through her mind for a split second. Buck wasn’t a murder…he didn’t give that vibe.
“Are you sure?” She asks, feeling like she was imposing on his time. But, if he was inviting inside…
“I mean, sure. What kind of documentary are you watching?” She asks as she stepped inside his apartment.
