Buck is just as disappointed as Rey at the interruption, but he's really trying to hide it. It sucks that they need to stop, but it's for the better, he supposes. They'd probably been moving too fast. That, and the food smells absolutely amazing, so it's a good plan B.
He watches as Rey puts the food in the kitchen and then stands to come help her with it. Her next comment takes him by surprise but he finds himself grinning as he walks up to her. He wraps his arms around her waist and nods, "yeah. I guess we have two options: back to the couch, or upstairs where the condoms are." He almost regrets what he says immediately, but he'd given her a choice. If she doesn't want to, they don't have to go upstairs.
